I'm Back!

Hi everyone! Sorry about the long absence. Facebook and blog have been blocked at work since my last post and we don't have internet at our house right now so it's been a while! They finally unblocked it, so here I am... for now! Well as you can see by the cute pics on my sidebar, we had our little baby Kaylie on 4-27-11. She was born at 12:51am and was 7lbs 1oz and 19in long. We are just so happy and love her so much! She is a great baby and she sleeps through the night already! Amazing! My labor was pretty easy, much better than expected. My water broke at work just as I was leaving for the day on Tuesday. We were scheduled to be induced Thursday. I had been having contractions off and on for a few weeks and I had been dilated to a 4and 90% effaced for the last week. Well, luckily I had towels in my car (just in case), so I called Shayne and headed up to the hospital and met him there. My water broke at 5. I was about a 6 when I was admitted and at 10pm I was at a 7 1/2. Then at 10:30 when the nurse came in, I told her I was feeling pressure. She checked me and I was complete. I went from a 7 1/2 to a 10 in 30 min! But I had my epidural so all was well. I started pushing and it seemed like less than an hour and she arrived at 12:51am! She is very healthy and happy. She had the lowest jaundice test reading the nurse at the Dr. had ever seen at her 1 week appt. So that is great! We just love our cute little Kaylie bug! She is the best blessing ever!
