Ok, today I did the dumbest thing I have ever done. I have always wanted to throw Shayne a suprise birthday party, but have never been able to because we didn't have our own house until this year. Well his birthday is next weekend, so his sister and I have been planning this party for weeks now. I was trying to be really careful with everything because he always finds everything out. Always!! So, we had it all worked out and I meant to send a long, detailed email to his sister about it. Well, where do you think I really sent it??? That's right. Strait to his inbox!!! AAAAHHHHH!!!!! Seriously?? So about 20 minutes later, I couldn't figure out why Brandie wasn't emailing me back. So I sent her a text. She said she never got it so I checked my sent box and saw that it went to him. So I hurried and called his boss because he was supposed to get off at 3 and I figured if he did get off at 3 then he couldn't have read it yet. So I was hoping there was some possible way his boss could delete it since it's his work email. Well, he couldn't and Shayne was still at work. So I hurried and called him in hopes that he hadn't read it yet. I was going to tell him that I sent Brandie what I was getting him for his birthday and I was going to have him hurry and delete it without reading it. Well, he already read it!! He was just going to pretend that he didn't know anything and go along with the party. What a sweet husband :) I would have freaked out if I found out later that he knew though. Well I cried my eyes out when I found out, because once again, I failed to be able to surprise him. Now I'm fine, I'm just super mad at myself for being such a dummy!!! My biggest blond moment ever!! Kind of funny though... maybe I'll laugh later!!!

The Keys Have Been Found!!
The day that I lost my keys, after I got home from work. Shayne started helping me look for them. He found them in about 3 seconds!! They were on the couch!! Under a plastic bin that I had sitting there. The wierd thing is, I lifted up that couch cushion front and back and looked under it, and I swear I even moved that bin. How in the world did my keys not slide off when I lifted the cushion, I tipped it almost vertical. Anyway, thank goodness I have a husband to make up for my stupidity! I felt like such an idiot, but all I cared about was that my keys were back! Thanks Baby! I love you. Also, I know this is lame, but I have to say, I am proud of myself! I helped a girl jump start her car all by myself. I knew how, I just didn't know what order to put on the cables. I tried to call my hubby but he didn't answer. So luckily there were intructions on the cables, so I did it and her car started right up! I know... you are probably thinking that that is probably the easiest thing in the world to figure out, but I am not a car person, and I was proud of myself. Usually my husband does that stuff. Anyway, that's about it. Have a good day!

One of Those Days...
Ok, so I woke up this morning and started getting ready. Then I remembered that when I left for Church yesterday morning (Shayne was at his meeting), I couldn't find my car keys, so I walked to church. Well, I started looking all over for them this morning, which I should've done yesterday. I still haven't found them!! I tore my entire house apart looking and no luck. I retraced my steps, prayed, called everywhere I went over the weekend to see if they were there, prayed again. No luck! Finally, my sweet mother-in-law came to give me a ride to work, an hour after I was supposed to be there. So I thought that would be it. Shayne would come get me when he gets off and if I don't find my keyes, we will go make a spare tonight. Well, turns out that my key to my work drawer is on my key ring so I can't get into my drawer, which has my book in it. For those of you who know about my job, you know I need something to keep me entertained during the day so I don't die of boredom. Well, I remembered that it would be locked so I grabbed some movies from home to watch. Well, then I remembered that my head phones for watching movies are locked in my drawer! So no movies either. So then I also remembered that the ramen noodles that I brought last week and planned on having for lunch today were also locked in there. So I figure I'll just go grab some lunch. But... NO CAR!!! Seriously! So I walked across the street and got a cheeseburger. Which was fine, but seriously, how can so many things be linked to losing your car keys?! So annoying! So long story short, I still have no keys, and walmart says they can't make a copy because the key supposedly has a "chip" in it and I have to get it from the dealership, which is ridiculously expensive and I'm too cheap! But I guess I have no other choice unless I find my keys tonight! And I'm not even going to be home. I'm supposed to be at craft night with the girls in my family, and I might end up at the dealership getting keys made instead and giving my right arm for the price of it! Anyway, sorry to complain. Other than that, we had a good weekend. We went tubing with siblings on Friday night, then watched a movie. Then went to the cannery on Saturday morning and got our food storage started (which I just found out, we are missing stuff. They didn't give it to us), then we went to the Jazz game Saturday. That was awesome because the Jazz won and they honored Larry H. Miller since it was the first game since his death. Then D Will gave Miller's wife the game ball. That was cool. Also, Shayne bought a nice Stockton ball and since our brother is a pro on getting signatures from the players, he was able to get some cool ones. He even got Boozer, which never happens. He also got D Will, Korver, Jerry Sloan, Koofis and a few others. Our brother had a Millsap jersey and wanted him to sign it, but he didn't do autographs, so that was lame. Sorry Kev! Anyway, all in all it was a fun weekend, but I need to find my keys before I lose my sanity as well!

Valentine's Day
Hope everyone had a good Valentine's Weekend. We sure did! We went to Salt Lake to eat on Friday instead of Saturday since I didn't call soon enough to make reservations at a reasonable time on Saturday. Then on Saturday, we just hung out together and then went to Tony's for dinner. It was so good, and not very crowded. Over all, it was a great weekend, but remind me never to eat that much again. We were both so sick from so much food. Here are a few pics...

I love my Husband!!!
I just wanted to say how proud I am of my husband. He is such a wonderful man! He has recently been called to serve as the Young Men's President in our ward, and also be a scout leader. I'm so happy for him and I know that he will do so well with teaching and bonding with the Young Men at this important stage in their lives. He will have a blast with them, and I want him to know how much I love him! He is really the best husband in the world, and my soul mate. I love you babe! Congrats!
