Update...

I just wanted to update on our new house, ward, and neighborhood. We went to our new ward for the first time this Sunday. It started at 9am and we used to start at 1pm so that was an adjustment, but it was fun. So we get there and we didn't know if sacrament was first or last, so we walk in and see a greeter at the door of the chapel so we assumed sacrament was first. We walked up to him and he started asking who we were and if we were new, so we told him our story and we looked in the chapel and I swear there was no more than 15 people in there. We went in and sat down and we were talking about how everyone must be out of town or something. After sacrament(which was the quietest singing I have ever heard), we went to our class and then to Priesthood and Relief Society. I found out after church that during priesthood our neighbor/new friend told my husband that this was as crowded as he had ever seen the ward. I was shocked! So it is a teeny tiny ward but it is fun. Everyone seems so nice and welcoming and I think we will really like it there. We will probably just be speaking in Sacrament alot more often! :) About our neighbors... we have seen people, but the only people we have talked to are our neighbors to the East of us. I'm really excited because the are a young couple that are our age and have no kids yet. They have been married about a year less than us and they are so nice. They are going to be adopting 2 babies from Ethiopia in the Fall, which is really cool and even more fun that we are trying to have kids so it's nice to have friends/neighbors that are about at the same stage in life. Our previous neighbors were all older and the closest ones to our age had 3 kids already and were at least 5 years older. So it's fun to have someone on the same level. Another funny thing is, come to find out, Shayne went to school with him (Cole, our neighbor). Shayne graduated one year before him but they remembered each other. Also, Kelsey, his wife new Shayne from Acres. Her little sister and her sister's best friend were friends with Shayne when he worked there and he knew Kelsey also. It's a small world! But it will be so fun to have friends next door and in our same ward. I'm just so excited that we were so blessed to get this house in such a good neighborhood and I can't wait to start our family here!
